Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. SOLD - thanks Jeff and OTD!

: Hello everyone. I don't sell often, in fact I don't know the last
: time I sold one of my watches, but I am grail hunting! Offered
: here for your consideration is a genuinely incredible 11603 V
: fully restored by Abel with a NOS insert and bezel, with a great
: fun back story. It comes with it's original box and guarantee
: papers. I purchased this from the original owner.

: The story - this watch had seen WORK when I bought it. Some of you
: know that my passion is seeing things come "back to
: life". This was owned by a Navy Seal who actually used it
: occasionally for diving and while deployed. He knocked the bezel
: off it at some point in time and had a watchmaker put a bigger
: one on it (we think from a Breitling) to make it easier for him
: to use. It was ugly. He'd had the watch since new but it
: definitely needed work. Remarkably, the dial, hands and movement
: survived their life basically unscathed. I think Abel just
: gently cleaned the dial.

: We sourced a NOS bezel / insert and the case was given the full
: restoration treatment at the Belgian spa.

: Serial number is 387xxx and is clearly visible.

: I think you'll agree this looks downright spectacular and you can
: wear it knowing it holds a fun history.

: Accepting offers around $4500 with no stop (we all have our own
: strap styles).
