FS: Omega Speedmaster Professional 105.012-66HF w/ Extract

The 105.012 is the same reference worn by the astronauts on the Apollo 11 mission, cementing the Speedmaster's legacy by becoming the first watch worn on the moon. With this significance, this watch has emerged as a very important Speedmaster reference and continues to be one of the most sought after vintage watches on the planet.

This 105.012-66 retains all of its original key components, with its signature stepped dial with wide-spaced "T"s, DON bezel, flat-foot crown and short press-in "mushroom" pushers. It also comes with Archive of the Extracts from Omega confirming the watch's original production date in 1967 and its original delivery destination of The Netherlands.

Take a look at the photos and our condition description below:

Case: 42mm stainless steel case in very good vintage condition. The case has minor nicks and scratches commensurate with wear but the case is overall very clean with crisp brushing and bright polished areas. The pushers are correct press-fit "mushroom" style and appear original to the watch with typical discoloration on the pusher tubes. The crown is also an original "flat-foot".

Bezel: Original dot over 90 (DON) bezel in good condition with some minor paint loss as pictured.

Dial/Hands: Dial is original stepped tritium in excellent condition with intact lume. The hour markers have a very pleasing and bold colored patina which looks outstanding in the flesh. Hands are also original tritium and match the dial well.

Caseback: Original 105.012-66 HF caseback in very good vintage condition as pictured with deep crisp engravings.

Crystal: OEM Omega hesalite crystal with only minor surface scratching and swirls.

Movement: Caliber 321 manual wound chronograph movement. Watch is running great with smooth winding and chrono operation. All functions work as they should including chronograph start, stop, and return to zero. 24.95 million serial number matches the Archive Extract with a production date in 1967. Service history is unknown.

Bracelet/Strap: OEM Omega 1479 bracelet that was likely added at a later service. The bracelet is in like new condition with virtually zero stretch and will fit up to a 7.5"+ wrist. It is currently sized for a 7.25" wrist on the third smallest clasp extension.

Accessories: The Extract of the Archives from Omega is included with the watch.

Price is $10,000 shipped insured FedEx overnight CONUS via wire transfer. US sale preferred, international sales will pay the cost of shipping. Face to face in the Boston area also welcome. I have many references available. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking!
