FS: Rolex Datejust 1600 Black Gloss Gilt

Vintage 1972 Rolex Datejust 1600 Black Gilt Dial

The Rolex has a beautiful and rare black gloss dial in wonderful condition. The dial is of course original and untouched.

The 36mm ref. 1600 Oyster case with steel smooth bezel is in really great shape, with the reference and serial numbers perfectly visible between the lugs. The serial number of 39xxxxx dates the watch to 1972. I’ve also had a new crystal fitted just recently.

Fitted with a matching 6251H Jubilee bracelet, with clasp code 72. The bracelet is in excellent shape with as good as no stretch and is a maximum of 16,5cm long, 23links.

The 26 jewel, cal. 1570 chronometer movement looks very clean and is winding, setting and running perfectly with the date change jumping precisely at midnight. Open 6’s and 9’s on the date wheel.
Overall a beautiful collectors piece in outstanding condition!
