FS: Early 1940's LeCoultre 24Hr dial, pilots/military watch

An slightly impromtue incoming means that this is up for sale sooner than I hoped it would be.

Very original, early 1940's (from what I can gather from the scant info available on JLC serials, why they can't just publish a list like everyone else) Made for the US market (hence LeCoultre branding).

Cal.450 centre seconds movement, pretty clean, though you can see it has been worked on before (as evidenced by watchmakers' marks in the case back). Running nicely, though I have not had it serviced.

Case is unpolished as far as I can tell. Still has the printing inside the caseback explaining how to remove the movement, which has often been rubbed off. Crown probably not original.

Dial has even patina across it, hands have the coolest radium lume!

The watch came on a very well used mil-type strap, which I am fairly certain is US issue (I purchased the watch in Tennessee). I've popped it on an old leather out of preference.

32mm without crown, 16mm lug width. It does seem to wear a bit bigger though becasue of the dial design.

Asking £675 to include UK delivery, international postage £25. Sensible offers will be considered.
