FS: Heuer Carrera 1153s cal. 11i

For Sale: Heuer Carrera 1153s cal. 11i
Asking price of GBP 4000 net

I purchased this in 2014 in a private sale from another Heuer collector. It's in near perfect condition, the only significant mark being a graze on the crown.

It is an early example with a Cal.11i movement. A few years ago I had an email exchange with a well known Heuer expert about it as it has an extremely early serial number of 1471XX (can be supplied upon request), while my understanding is the Chronomatic Carrera is 1475XX. The suggestion was that perhaps this was an early case used at a later date. It has second execution hands on a first execution dial.

I have only worn this occasionally - in part as it is almost too perfect. I have no idea of the service history, however, the chrono functions correctly and keeps time well (although I havent timed it recently - I’m happy to time it for a few days if necessary and report back.

Included are a corfam style leather strap (Guiliano, handmade in Italy), and a Heuer “b” stamped re-issue buckle.

I would be happy to have a detailed conversation about the watch with any interested buyers. Im based in the UK.

Steve
