FS: Omega WWW Dirty Dozen British Army Watch c.1945 *LINK*

Dear All

For sale is this Omega WWW Dirty Dozen British Army Wristwatch c.1945.

As many of you may know WWW stands for Watch, Wrist, Waterproof and was the descriptive code used by the British Army to identify it as a piece of equipment. These watches began being manufactured and issued to the British Army in early 1945. There were 12 Swiss manufacturers of the WWW watches and as such, the collection is commonly referred to by collectors and dealers alike as “The Dirty Dozen”. Only around 25,000 Omega WWW watches were made for the British Army during WW2.

The Omega WWW is in lovely overall condition.

The original factory dial is in beautiful condition with no obvious flaws or blemishes.

The sword hands, seconds hand and crown are all correct to the original specification of the watch.

As expected, there are a number of fairly minor scratches and marks to the outer casing of the watch.

The Omega 30T2 calibre movement is in superb condition and is currently running well and keeping excellent time.

The watch diameter is 35mm.

Please see photos below:

The watch is listed for sale on our website priced at £2,495 which includes fitted leather strap and quality hand-made leather watch pouch. This price includes free shipping for members of Chronotrader!

All our items are guaranteed to be completely genuine and authentic. We offer a fourteen day "no quibble" money back guarantee on all the items we sell together with a full six-month warranty on all our wristwatches and clocks. This means that you can buy from us with complete confidence.
