FS: Alihor Panda Dial Racing Chrono "Poor man's Heuer Monza"

For sale from my personal collection is this amazing seventies Alihor Panda dial Racing Chronograph featuring a Landeron 248 movement. Does it look familiar? Well it’s kinda like a poor man’s Heuer Monza! Alihor is a well known Swiss manufacturer of watches which went under in the quartz revolution of the eighties.

The watch is in a very nice vintage condition, it has got a scratch free acrylic domed crystal and a classic panda dial, beautiful sunburst silver dial with black “pie tin” subdials, combined with a black chaptering, all the hands are white.

Diameter without the crown is 37mm, with crown 40mm, 41mm length, 12 mm thickness, because of the form of the case it wears bigger than the numbers suggest. The stainless steel case is unpolished. Lugsize is 20mm and the watch comes on a new Rios rally strap.

The Landeron movements runs fine, keeps good time, the chronograph starts, stops and resets like it should, the pusher action is crisp. Unknown service history.
