Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. Re: Some precisions
In Response To: Some precisions ()

I don't have to look very far on this forum to see posts about scammers and it is very difficult to determine who is and who is not as there is no supporting evidence for posts on the forum. Anyone that is so out of touch with prices is either trying to pull a fast one or taking a chance. Scammer or not, as a calypso collector and very much in touch with current prices, I think you are trying to pull a fast one day on an unsuspecting newbie.

Plenty of refs on many other forums.

: Since I know a bit about the subject (
: https://chronographes.net/?s=calypsomatic ), I would like to
: clarify a few details about the asking price. We can find it
: high, especially in view of what we can find for the same amount
: but it is, as always, the market that decides...
: I don't come here to defend the seller (except to confirm that he
: is absolutely not a scammer but a kind and respectable member of
: the community) but I specify nevertheless that this Calypsomatic
: is not an ordinary reference. It is even one of the rarest. From
: this point of view, it is understandable that its price is
: higher than that of the 7085 or 7986 which one meets more
: commonly.
