Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. DESCRIPTION
For sale is a working and in excellent condition 1988 Omega Seamaster Professional 200M Cal 1441 Ref 396.1042. This is a Pre-Bond Seamaster with the rare themo-compesnsated caliber 1441. The 1441 is an ETA 255.561 and is one of Omega's most accurate movements, being reliable for +- 10s/year and was only used for the first year of the Seamaster 200M. The case and bracelet is made of brushed stainless steel and features an unidirectional rotating bezel made of solid 18K gold. The crystal is sapphire and covers the simple but elegant black dial. The dial is signed Omega at the top and Seamaster Professional 200M at the bottom and features Mercedes style hands. The hours are marked with luminescent paint and there is a date window at 3 o'clock. Finishing off the watch is a gold screw down crown and a two piece screw down case back. The stainless steel integrated bracelet is a model 1455 with a diver extension clasp and will fit a 7" wrist.
CONDITION
The watch is all original, in excellent condition, and running perfectly. The case is in excellent condition, there is a small nick on the side near the crown and even smaller nicks near the lugs. The bezel is in excellent condition and rotates smoothly, there are a few small nicks in the gold and the luminescence on the zero mark is worn and dirty. The crystal, dial, and hands are perfect. The bracelet is in excellent condition and has a new old stock clasp that is a perfect match to the original. There are no service records for the watch but the watch is keeping perfect time (it is more accurate then I can measure). The battery was replaced two months ago.
Asking $800 USD OBO (PayPal friend or +3%), includes fully insured shipping in the United States. Will sell internationally but with etra cost for shipping and customs.
