Re: FSOT: Heuer Autavia KAF Kenyan Air Force / Decomp-Dial

Hey Bernard,

nice to read from you.
As I did not have the opportunity to hold the watch from the Christie's auction in my hands - and I know you are an expert for Heuer watches - I'm pretty sure your estimation is absolutely correct.
Then let me correct my words:
It looks as if the case was redone in a bay way - as I am not able to see the KAF number etc.
I guess they should get another photographer then :)

Thanks for your kind words!
And again: thanks for the nice contact via email in the past!

Best,
...

...
: I normally try not to give any comments on people's ads.
: This time I cannot resist since the Christie's watch you are always
: referring to was mine.
: The case was not fucked up at all. In fact the case was in a great
: condition.
: Also the numbers on the case-back were perfectly visible. Christies
: just made bad pictures of that.
: Overall a really nice watch and so in my opinion your description
: is not really accurate.
: I'll admit the hands were a bit messy but you often see that on
: these military Autavia's. Believe me, I had some.

: Nevertheless I wish you good luck with your sale.

: Best regards,
: Bernard
