Wyler Vetta vintage, 35mm of diameter, probably around 40's or 50's. Waterproof case ("étanche" in french). Dial has a nice patina with english/french mixed scriptures : "Incaflex", "étanche", "antimagnetic" and "swiss made".
Movement is serviced and equipped with the revolutionary Incaflex balance, which is supposed to withstand a fall of the Eiffel Tower (1956) or of the Seattle Tower (1962).
Band is handmaid ostrich with barenia (same as Hermès) calf.

Montre mécanique Wyler Vetta ronde de diamètre 35mm, des années 40/50.
Wyler Vetta est une marque hélvetico-italienne datant de 1896, encore en activité.
Equipée d'un boitier étanche (attention! ne signifie pas qu'elle puisse être portée sous la douche!) en trois parties en bon état. Le cadran possède une patine homogène ainsi que les écritures "Incaflex", "étanche", "antimagnetic" et "swiss made".
Le mouvement, révisé, est équipé du fameux balancier incaflex, inventé en 1927 par l'horloger Paul Wyler. Il en démontra toute l'efficacité quelques années plus tard, en 1956, lors d'un célèbre «coup médiatique» au cours duquel deux montres équipées de l'Incaflex sont lancées du haut de la Tour Eiffel. Un huissier présent au pied du monument constatera qu'elles fonctionnent toujours après la chute. L'opération est réitérée avec succès en 1962 du haut de la Seattle Tower pour convaincre le marché américain.
La montre est montée sur un bracelet autruche caramel, fait main, doublé en veau barenia (de la tannerie HAAS, fournisseur d'Hermès).
Disponible sur Paris ou a l'envoi pour 440€ (frais de port éventuel en sus).
