For sale: vintage Longines Admiral 5 stars Automatic

Description:

Year of made: 1970s

Condition: Used but in very good condition. Running well and keep good time although unknown service history. All features work as it should.

Case: Stainless steel brushed & polished, 35mm without original crown and 36.5mm with crown. 19mm lug spacing.

Case back: “UniShell” type, designed for improvement of waterproofing qualities.

Dial: Matte black dial with Red chapter ring, original not re-dial.

Crystal:Acrylic, with minor scratches at 12 (see attached picture)

Movement: in house Longines Cal. 508 automatic movement, introduced in 1972.

History of movement: Cal. 508 produced by RECORD watch company (Basically, this movement is a record design and it was adopted by Longines when Record was acquired by Longines). Besides, Cal. 508 is one of the great in house movement to be used by Longines watches before ETA integration.

Feature of movement: Automatic, sweep second, quickset by repeated pushing the crown; 21 Jewels; 21,600 A/H and power reserved 44H

Strap: new leather strap (brown/ black. To be discussed for the color)
