FS: Yema Superman 24.11.17 Automatic 990 Feet Diver

For Sale: Yema Superman Ref. 24.11.17

-

I got this watch directly from its former owner, who bought it in the early Seventies.
He used it during his work as a technical diver for the german THW (technical assistance/salvage work for fire rescue and police).

From the end of the Eighties on until last week, the watch was not in use.

I had the watch on my wrist for 3 days, it kept the time exactly.

- FE 3611 automatic movement looks good and functions well, date change works fine

- screw down crown works as it should, setting of the hands works fine too

- dial has visible discolorations/paint loss at 9 and 10 o´clock and on the edges

- the locking mechanism for the bezel is a bit bent and should be adjusted

- the bezel turns as it should, bakelite inlay looks to be in nice condition

- there are visible marks all over, one bigger scratch at the back

- caseback threads are all in good condition (the stuff around the seal and on the inside of the caseback is dirt – not rust)

- bracelet has 11 links

- service history is unknown

-

I slightly cleaned the bracelet with a toothbrush and some soap, beside that the watch is in the same condition as it was when it was put in a drawer at the end of the Eighties.

My asking price for this untouched one owner piece is 1450 Euros or your best offer.

Payment: bank wire, no paypal.

Shipping in the EU is included (by Deutsche Post/DHL with tracking number, of course well packed).

Shipping costs outside the EU are not included, they depend on where you live.

For any questions or in case you need more pictures, feel free to send me an e-mail (and yes, I know, my e-mail address looks funny, but believe me, I am a real person).

Greetings from Germany,

Hermann

Thank you chronotrader for the space!
