Current Market for Hodinkee LE Skipper
In Response To: Hodinkee Skipper ()

Yes, the $20,000 "ask" seems a bit high, but I believe that this particular watch has a strong following.

I have not followed the market closely, or seen many offered for sale, but I would guess that they are fetching something in the $12,000 to $15,000 range.

It's a really good looking watch, with a coveted historical precedent (the "Skipperrera") and a great back story (the Intrepid, successfully defending America's Cup in the late 1960s, with Heuer supplying the timing equipment).

To me, a fine example of what a re-issue / homage should be!!
