In Response To: initial code for heuer ()

Great Question -- here is the start of an answer:

  • when the code appears on a Heuer, it is "AOC"
  • the code for Abercrombie was AFX and the code for Sears was SOX. [here is a nice clear example of the Sears marking, from a dashboard Autavia; you can see the Heuer and Abercrombie markings on the Movements page, linked below]
  • Heuer seems to have stopped using the codes at a certain date, but I am not certain about this
  • some pieces that are definitely Heuers do not have the code; perhaps it is only for pieces that were to be exported??

So there you have it -- a couple of answers and a couple of questions; perhaps others can provide all the answers.

Thanks for the message.

Jeff
