Thanks for sharing Jeff, a very interesting read. It's the only TH watch I've been tempted to buy.
Also leaving aside the many useful features it has as a diver's chrono - the high WR, the protected pushers that can be used underwater, the visual trick to let one see whether the crown has been screwed in properly etc. - this is a watch packed with features, that has provided the modular movement its best incarnation.
As a plus, myself being a L5100 nut, I do appreciate all efforts that companies make to mimic that feature of the central chrono minute - so much better than a small subdial.
Furthermore this has the 24-hr indicator and no date. A real winner - and as you write, also still affordable and great bang for the buck.
