Re: Gold plated polished or not?
In Response To: Gold plated polished or not? ()

Hi Peter,

I do not think it is polished or replated, it has been a daily rocker and is worn out .
The Heuer plating is quiet thick,( once I failed to remove it mechanically... ) One still see the loss at the edges.

A new plating do not show the sharp edges of new steel sun burst and gold is more weak as steel sun burst, so the attrition is more.
Mine is a little less worn than yours, but look similar on the surface.

cheers
Mich
