Leonidas chrono rebranded by Heuer ?

Now that was a good response. in any case, there seem to be plenty of heuer leonidas sa on the web. are these all mis representations ?

could it be a chrono that was re issued in the sixties (based on an old leonidas design?) a bit like the new monaco and carrera which now carry the tag heuer logo rather than just the heuer? if this is the case, would the models be documented somewhere, after all the aero which uses the same movement as this lists at US$4500!! hardly an inexpensive or worthless piece.

ps : thanx for your eloquent and obviously well reasoned response (unlike brains statement!).
