Fake Or Not Fake?

Fake Or Not Fake?

i'm not sure this one is cut and dried. to me it looks like someone has taken a genuine Heuer, in poor condition, and done the following:

1: polished the original case loosing the original brushed top surface finish.

2: taken a nos or good condition unsigned dial and had a dial restorer put the Heuer sheild on it and fitted that in place of the original.

OK so it's a dog's dinner but there are still strong traces of an original Heuer there.... so, is it realy a fake? please note: no claims are made as to it's originality by the seller and we are invuted to ask questions first

looks like a classic case of 'buyer beware'
