Scan Day: Which watch will you see 2004 in with?

A tradition over at the TimeZone Omega forum is to post a scan on New Year's Eve of the watch you'll be wearing on your wrist to see in the New Year (and no it doesn't have to be a Heuer or Omega, just a watch scan)... This is a tradition I would like to transplant here.

Since getting into watches in a big way back in late 1998 I've worn a different watch to see in each new year...

To see in:

I wore my:

1999

TAG-Heuer Kirium Chronograph in Electric Blue (bought 9 hours earlier)...

2000

Porsche Design (IWC) Titan

2001

Omega Speedmaster 105.003-65

2002

Omega Speedsonic Lobstertail & 1950's Omega c.321 "No Model"

2005

Ventura V-Matic Loga

The past five years I was fortunate enough to see the new year in at a long time friend's (we graduated in the same high school class) house with dozens of our friends. Unfortunately, he passed away on March 15 after a sudden illness, so I will likely be seeing in 2004 at home, quietly. (I miss you Dave!)

This year, as I look back on 2003, I have seen an amazing transformation in the availablity of Heuer related information on-line, thanks in no small part to the efforts of Bruce, Derek, Hans and Jeff as well as many of the regulars here in the forum... I have decided to recognize this by wearing my latest acquisition...

I wish you all a safe and memorable New Year's celebration, and a prosperous and rewarding 2004! If 2004 is half as good to Heuer fan's as 2003 was, we'll be in great shape!
