I probably shouldn't post a reference publically… *LINK*

I probably shouldn't post a reference publically… And I'm not sure how Hans feels about working on non Heuer products... But...

Let me share with you the name and contact information location of Shane Ede: http://home.vrx.net/ede/ ... Shane came highly recommended to me by a couple of fellow collectors that I respect, so I recently (two weeks ago) sent him two chronographs to work on, a Certina 7750 and a Mistral Timing Lemania 5012, he called me within 10 days to say the watches were done and ready to ship out for a shipped cost of $300 US. Which I feel is pretty reasonable all in all. He stripped them down, cleaned them, did the necessary repairs and reassembled them. He said that he had worked on them for the better part of two and a half days. Now this is my first experience with Shane, and I the watches have worked flawlessly since their return, but I think it's probably a fair statement that he could get your watch running properly again for a reasonable amount of money. Tell Shane I sent you!

A couple of things about Shane... Since he is in Canada, be sure to ask him how to send the watch in order to avoid customs hassles. Second, he doesn't even own a computer, so you will have to call him and talk with him personally. Third, he's a talker, on your dime or his, he likes to talk which is kind of refreshing in a watchmaker.

I hope this helps, and isn't to agregious of an afront to the forum rules!
