And Here It Is with Nikon 5700 *LINK*

Here is one of his images, taken with a Nikon 5700 and then re-sized to fit in this Discussion Forum a bit better.

DPReview.com is a fantastic website; he seems to call 'em like he sees 'em, and he does not hesitate to give an average or poor camera an average or poor rating. He has been using this Carrera in his reviews for years.

I keep studying his review of the Nikon 5700, now that the camera has a street price in the $600 range. Does anyone have thoughts on the merits of the Nikon 5700, versus comparable Minoltas and Canons, with an emphasis on what we need for shooting watches for internet postings -- primarily good macro and color rendition?? No need for small lightweight camera; no need for zillions of pixels; no need for movies; etc.

While we are on the subject (or is it off the subject -- ??), tell us what camera you are using for your photos and how you like the camera for watches (and other things).

Thanks for any thoughts.

Jeff
