Great story but I have a few of these and they all appear genuine Heuer and for the non-name Heuers look pretty good, although one of them appears to have a paper (?) dial.

Anyone know whether this was a coomon production on the cheaper models.

Also the guy is getting a bargain because none of mine have signed crowns so he has done well to get a signed crown, albeit an omega one
