would anyone be interested in a brief discussion of "how to detect refinished dials"? or maybe we would call it, "how to detect refinished dials, before you send the money".

notice how nicely the needle aligns with the hash marks at 23 seconds . . . but it looks a shade long at 53 seconds . . . what in the world . . . ??

and now that I look a bit more closely, why are all the markings off-center on this register??
