here's another Heuer 1000 sold on ebay recently.
as it's done and dusted, i hope no one minds me placing details of an ebay auction on the forum. pics may be of some help to the discussion.
needless to say it's an absolutely genuine Heuer 1000 and although these watches are green (there were 1000 series and Autavia chronographs available too) the green is dark and not far off black.
