We All Missed It, Including This Seller

Yep -- I saw this one a few hours after the sale.

In my view, the theories are still valid. Here, we seem to have had a seller who did not know the value of the piece, and offered a BuyItNow at a price that was well below market. So he either did not know the value or he was in the mood to be charitable or maybe he wanted fast cash.

This reminds me of the manual Autavia GMT that went for $9.95 (that right, a nickel under $10), with a BuyItNow. That did not reflect any real market value; it reflected a seller who had absolutely no idea what he was selling.

Some nights, it's hard to sleep, knowing that somewhere in the world, someone may be posting a Heuer GMT at that $10 BuyItNow.
