understand it. if you want a better more complete one do a search on this forum as David Devos and Charles Rush among others i'm sure, have posted the story in full detail. anyway, i know i've read it a few times in different posts here.

heuer rep(not sure who exactly) brought 15 either different models or variations of a few models (not sure of the details on that one either) to the set for mcqueen to pick one. mcqueen picked the monaco as i guess he liked the looks of it.

there, that's the short and sweet version. i'm pretty sure it wasn't a stylist or a director, etc. i will agree that maybe the producers or director made mcqueen wear a heuer rather than his favorite rolex? maybe a possibility, i don't know for sure? but i'm pretty sure he picked the monaco out himself. maybe one of the experts on this story can verify/deny the facts/details that i'm not sure of.
