LeMans Gold Carrera

Hello there,

Way back when, in 1969/1970, I was the Executive in Charge of Production of the Motion Picture, LEMANS. It was through my associate, Don Nunley (Propman), that a deal was negotiated with Jack Heuer to have Steve McQueen wear the now famous square chronograph, together with a driving suit patch. When Mr. Heuer came to LeMans for a visit, he presented me with a 14K Gold Heuer Carrera Automatic Chronograph. I was told it was a somewhat rare timepiece. I wore it for a year or two and put it away in a box. A box that I recently rediscovered. I am curious on what it might be worth? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,

Robert L. Rosen
