Costco is gray market.. BUT...
In Response To: costco equals grey market... ()

: they are not an authortized dealer of any
: brand. if you have a problem after whatever
: their return policy is your on your own.
: something to consider before flopping down
: $2000.00usd +:)

True. But COSTCO has the most lenient return policy of just about any place on the planet.

I know someone who bought a luxury quartz watch there. After a little less than two years it stopped running. They took it back to COSTCO to ask for service -- expecting the store to send it off to their service department for a battery change. Instead of making the person wait while it was sent off, COSTCO exchanged it for a new one out of the case AND refunded a $300 difference because the price had dropped since they bought it.

I challenge you to find that level of service at ANY authorized luxury watch dealer.
