Thank you for sharing this watch and its history with us. Its a new one one to me and another chapter in the Heuer Carrera history. I bet if we had seen the engraving before we heard the story it would have generated plenty of debate about on its origin. But thanks to you we can add this one to the history book.
You chose well as that dial looks prestine. These 2nd generation Carrera dials in white suffered with time and more often than not we see them is a lesser state of appearance and they fail to impress. But your example is perfect and gorgeous.
