Bonham's Auctioneers is a leading London auction house that specializes in vintage and historic automobiles. Each year, two of Bonham's big events are auctions at the Grand Prix weekend in Monte Carlo (June) and the Goodwood Revival (September). At these two events, Bonham's also sells automobilia and auto-related watches.

At the auction to be held at Goodwood, on September 5th, this Heuer Carrera will be auctioned (photo used with permission of Bonham's).

I don't know the actual history of this piece, but it certainly looks like the real thing.

I believe that Bonham's accomodates absentee bidders; I do not think the catalog for the Goodwood auction is available online; check the Bonham's website (linked below) for additional information.

It sure would be nice if one you the "Heuer guys" added this one to his collection. I assume that the "car guys" / "McLaren guys" will be chasing it, but it's always difficult to predict who will show up at these events (or bid on an absentee basis). Those cars guys probably don't have any money anyway. Come on -- somebody bring this one home for the OTD crowd!!
