Rich Has Published His December 2014 Market Update

I have just noticed that Rich has published his new December 2014 “Vintage Heuer Market Update” and also updated his Price Guides for the various models. This is Rich’s 9th Market Update and they are always interesting -- good recaps of what we have seen over the past quarter and excellent forecasts of the future direction of the market. As you might expect, recent trends and the current outlook are both strong for some of our most beloved vintage Heuers.

Rich points out what we have seen so often – On a given day, you can go online or to your favorite dealer, and find plenty of (very expensive) Paul Newman Daytonas. It’s just a matter of deciding which one you like and determining how much you will have to pay for it. The most collectible vintage Heuers are different, however, now reaching “needle in a haystack” status. [I experienced this recently in my unsuccessful search for a great Rolex 5513; on any given day, there are dozens listed for sale. Try the same search, with the same budget, for a nice early Carrera, and you will see wuite a difference!]

Be sure to have a look at Rich's Market Update . . . some excellent material for discussions here.
