Added to OnTheDash: Boxing Chronograph (1986)

Added to OnTheDash . . . one of the rarest of all the Heuer chronographs, this Boxing chronograph appeared in the 1986 TAG Heuer catalog and our community has seen exactly one sample. The one shown below was photographed by Paul Gavin, and you can read his write-up here -- http://heuerworld.com/gallery_580445.html

The idea -- start the chronograph running at the beginning of a boxing match, and it will time (a) the three-minute rounds, and (b) the one minute break between each of the rounds. You also have the time-out capability, if needed.

Great concept; beautiful watch; and incredible photos, as we have come to expect from Paul.

More images in the OnTheDash Gallery, HERE.

Thanks, Paul . . . thought about this watch during the very boring Mayweather-Pacquiao fight, this past Saturday night.
