Re: An Interesting TAG Heuer Monaco

They're getting better but still far inferior to original. This example hands and dial paint looks acceptable to me but everything else:
Case: dimensions, edges, finish and case back is odd and rough
Fonts: on dial as well as registers look like some cheap free downloaded font. Doesnt even approach elegance of original especially early monaco scripts
Sub register cutouts: look raw
Lume dots: boring shape n ugly gloss
I could go on.

Actually the much debated and controversial black monaco looks more "authentic". For same money i would not blink to buy the black one (even if proven fake) than this genuine tag. Heheh and i get heat for wanting to put a sticker on a gmt bezel 😜....and a letter from jake ordering me to replace my gmtvwith a swatch 😄😄😄

Actually yesterday i went down to a tag heuer boutique and brought my monaco, silverstone and regatta. Well the sales folks quietly admitted the old ones look so much more beautiful!
