I understand the confusion. To clarify, I never told the seller he was wrong. I told the seller that it was higher than I expected and I would go back and do some more research. At no point did I ask for a price change or tell him he was incorrect. When he asked why I believed what I did, I answered him. I can absolutely take being wrong about the valuation, which is why I asked this morning. This is a fast changing market and is hard to keep up with it sometimes. I thought that was what this forum was for. It was the seller's response that left me wondering what I had done wrong and looking for some advice on how to handle these situations.

There is a lot of support in this forum for the seller, so it is obvious that my experience was atypical. Thanks to everyone for there assistance and advice including some very wise advise via email that I plan on following.
