On behalf of a friend I present an interesting and rare 18 karat gold Heuer that both he and I would love to get some opinions on from those in the know. My Heuer collection and knowledge starts from 1962 so this one required some research which in the end proved inconclusive.
I have not found this example in any of the old catalogues on this site which makes it all the more difficult to pinpoint a date of production and a reference number. The styling of the hands and dial suggest 1940’s yet case with serial number seem to point to a later production date.
So if you know more on this one please share your knowledge with us and the wider Heuer community.
