Ben, I don't feel offended but I wanted to point something..

Ben, this is a wonderful community and we help everyone out when we can and I did not take offense to what you said. I love the layout of your website.

I wanted to point out something to you, and I'm only saying this so you are aware of it. The 11630GMT that is listed for sale is not original I hope that you are aware of this.

Welcome to the forum.

: You don't think the Heuer market has longevity? I think it's only
: just started to move forward,

: I see Rolex collectors paying $100,000-$500,000 on many individual
: Daytona models that were probably made in even larger numbers
: than the whole Autavia range that Jack Heuer manufactured in the
: 1960's. Possibly an exaggeration - possibly not!

: I think vintage Heuer, particularly Autavia, has the potential, and
: the pedigree, to make a much greater impact on the vintage watch
: market. In terms of vintage sports watches of course Rolex are
: tops, they pack a huge corporate punch, but Heuer is catching up
: with the following pack which includes the likes of Omega (whose
: vintage Speedmasters, like Porsches, whilst beautifully made,
: have hardly changed design since the 1960's!).

: Heuer have extreme rarity, quality, pedigree and interest, all the
: ingredients for a great collectors' market.

: I'm only a beginner, but I'm enthusiastic and I'm in it for the
: long term.

: ps hope I have gone too far, apologies if I have!
