Heuer 100 -- Can We Have Some Love for the Logos??

Among the Heuer 100, there are some interesting chronographs with logos on the dials, produced for promotions or prizes. Let’s take a quick look at four of these watches, as it appears that they have not yet attracted much love in the Heuer 100 sale.

Item 85 is the Reference 73463 Autavia, with the Volvo logo. This was available through Volvo dealers, during the mid-1970s. While we are accustomed to seeing the Volvo logo on certain Carreras from the 1960s, these 1970s Autavias appear to be more rare. The estimate for this one is $8,000 to $16,000.

Item 80 is a Reference 110.633 Calculator, a manual-winding chronograph with a black dial and orange accents. This is a special version of the Calculator, offered in 1975 by Beechcraft (an American manufacturer of general aviation aircraft) through its network of dealers. The chronographs were offered at the slightly discounted $225 price, with production limited to 500 watches. This one carries an estimate of $5,000 to $10,000, with a current offer of $3,000.

Item 76 is one of the more interesting watches in the Heuer 100. This Camaro was presented to one of the class winners in the 1967 American Road Race of Champions (the national championship of amateur sports car racing). It is on the grains of rice bracelet and comes with the original red box. There is an offer on the watch at $5,000, with the estimate being $7,000 to $14,000.

Item 81 is the Lemania 5100-based chronograph, available through Audi dealers in the UK; sitting with an offer of $2,500, against an estimate of $4,000 to $8,000.
