Re: 2447 NST Hands
In Response To: 2447 NST Hands ()

Andrew

2nd exec dials (which all contrasting subs are) would start around 92xxx.

Scale dials should have shorter minute hand than this and would stop before the tachy "scale"

Hope that helps.

: Hi all,

: I've been offered this Carrera 2447 NST and, after doing a lot of
: visual comparisons, it seems like the tension ring needs
: replacing (not a big issue) and that the central handset is
: potentially later than the watch (possible bigger issue) - maybe
: from a 7753 NST? I do not know if these watches had overlap with
: the hands. The serial seems to be either a 93xxx or 98xxx (hard
: to tell from the pictures).

: I wanted to know if I was going down the right path on this and, if
: these are not original, are these hands obtainable?

: Also, if you notice anything else of issue, please let me know.
: Thanks for all your expertise, as always.

: Andrew H.
