: O.K. By now I should be mad at you. No, I am not going to advertise
: it before I buy it. I will buy it first. Then, when I have it, I
: will be able to photograph it and list it. If it sounded like
: something else, no, it is not. I have done this style of listing
: that you accuse me of before, for eg. if the piece belongs to a
: friend or colleague and I am selling it for the person,
: otherwise I keep it simple. In any case, I am not here to make
: new enemies. So watch it.
Steve, 98% of all offered Heuer triple calendar chronographs are completly fakes, and the value of a Valjoux 88 movement with a faked bridge for spare parts is not 2500,- Euro, but about 1000,- Euro, maximum 1500,- Euro.
So, before you buy it, go first looking these things:
here the markant things to find a genuine Heuer Valjoux 88
Its very easy:
1. every genuine Heuer Valjoux 88 of the 1950th moonphase chronograph has the 3 big subdials
2. every " has the open "6" and "9" on the date scale
3. every " has exactly the same case
4. every " has a serial number on the movement in the range of 55x xxx
5. every " has a 5 numbers serial number on the case back in the range of 70xxx till 89xxx
all the others are fakes or Re-Editions of the 1980th
