Heuer w/ date window at 12?

Hello,

Today I saw a Heuer "no hame" chronograph with the date window at 12 o'clock for sale. It was distinctively 70s with a silver-black panda dial and a Valjoux 7734 movement.

I have been looking through the catalogues online and not only cant I find the exact same watch, but I can't find any Heuer chronograph from the 70s with the date window at 12 o'clock. Is this a sign it's a franken watch or could this have been manufactured by Heuer?

Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Tony
