I sure miss the days of personal communications like this. The documents are an interesting read that harks back to a simpler time. Someone actually sat at a typewriter and typed all these letters...the service estimate is priceless in its itemized glory. We weren't very efficient in the 70's, but it sure felt more personal. It made you feel like someone actually cared.

These letters and service records add to the appeal of this piece despite the fact that the crown, crystal and bezel are not original to the watch. It was originally a 2446M, interesting that he upgraded to a tachy bezel.
