Re: FS: Omega Speedmaster 105.003 Vintage Chronograph Cal 32 *PIC*
In Response To: 1153S just acquired ()

: Hi all

: After a couple of years of casually searching, I finally pounced on
: a 1153 that arrived the other day. I'd welcome any thoughts on
: the watch (he said, bracing himself). I haven't had the back off
: yet, but the seller provided a movement shot that shows it as a
: clean looking Cal 11.

: I think this is an early 2nd execution 1153S, looks to have been
: polished but still has a reasonably sharp edge, crown is sig ned
: Heuer, the case back is unmarked. I wonder if the hands are
: replacements and if the dial has been relumed at some point. The
: serial is 191nnn but I don't suppose there's any reliable way of
: dating or authenticating that...

:

: Thanks in advance for any opinions :)

... and now, I'm trying it out on a Toshi strap I had made for a Speedmaster Mk II with racing dial - I like it a lot :-D
