...that this auction taking place in Hong Kong, rather than the US or the EU, had a massive effect on the results. I casually assumed they would all fly through their estimates and didn't bother registering for the auction since it would be taking place while I was asleep anyways. Wonder how many others felt the same way.

The second execution Autavia was the steal of the auction, IMO. Really, really good example of a hard to find reference that went for less than the Rindt (which also went for less than any other Rindt in recent high profile auctions).
