Re: Auction Results, Phillips HK -- May 30

Just made it back to my hotel from the auction..and quality still sells (nothing new here).
The Carrera's were an average bunch, as a whole. Polished cases/lugs, fair dials with lume plots missing and scratched.
The only one I bid on was the 1153BN even though there was small amount of material missing at 2/7. It had a nice overall look and Presence.
The NST was nice except for a clear scrape across the first R in Carrera and I hope L got it. The Volvo seemed to do well.

I looked a the 1563 exotic and definitely a refinished case and relumed MH hands, as I had been warned.
No comments on the early Autavia's.......Best to keep my head in the sand and paddl down.

I really did like the Breitling 815 panda, and just lost out on it.
