My Carrera has been on a Rolex Submariner bracelet since 1975 so no, I don't think it's a lame idea. Well the bracelet was cheap, two bottles of wine totaling about EU8 in today's money. Had to file the endlinks down to 18mm though, couple of minutes with a file :-)

Be prepared to get a lot of interest from customs officers though!
