: New arrival, and it really makes the Geiger counter sing, with
: lots of radium on the dial and hands.

: Heuer Reference 2447, "Radium" version (per the catalog),
: with Arabic numerals on the silver dial. Companion model had the
: black dial, with gilt accents. This one gets all the points for
: originality . . . a true tool watch, with the radium burns on
: the dial to prove it.

: The Reference 2447 was introduced in the early 1940s, but the
: serial number probably puts this one in the 1950s.

: Anyone else wearing anything interesting today?
