It's Odd When They Go Missing
In Response To: Long Journey Over ()

It is odd when these packages go missing / off the tracking grid, but the watches seem all the more precious when they end up being delivered.

Happy to hear that this one made it through, and that you are also back with us. Here's to a great 2018!!

: Happy New Year to all. This is my first post for a long time due to
: some personal issues during 2017 which I am glad to say is over.
: My last purchase of 2017 was a Wakmann 3 register chronograph
: with the Venus 178 movement. It was shipped to me end of October
: last year and after repeatedly checking the PO tracking
: eventually showed up in Johannesburg on 18th December. Ok I
: thought so it is still possible it might arrive. So I waited and
: waited and waited until Friday last week when it showed that it
: had moved to another hub closer to my home. The lo and behold
: this morning I got a message to say it was available for
: collection. So after an epic almost three month journey the
: watch is now in my possession. Who said minor miracles don’t
: happen.
