Re: Early Carrera (non-T) Reading Positive for Radium

this early has also radium.
serial: 53xxx

Franz Roman

here are all details:

: I can remember a few discussions about the luminous material on the
: non-T dialled Carreras, but I always thought the conclusion was
: that they were still tritium, and it was only legislation change
: that forced the move to print the T. Anyway, I bought a Geiger
: counter a couple of weeks ago and that tells me my Carrera has
: radium lume. I can’t tell whether it’s just in the hands,
: just on the dial, or both, but certainly there’s radium
: somewhere!

: Has this been measured and discussed elsewhere ?
