Great to hear from you and to learn that you have found your next watch (and you next home town)!! Photos, please, if you have a chance . . . showing the watch, the kids, etc.!!
And of course, I am intrigued by the move to Las Vegas!! Yes, it's a good town for finding watches, but there may also be some gambling there. Right? Are you still playing poker, or was that only before you "settled down".
In any event, thanks for the update and we hope that you will become a regular here!!
: It's been a bit. In my last posting I asked for your input about
: what watch should I buy next. Several of you gave your opinion
: for which I am grateful (I esteem this group and Mr. Stein
: highly)! Suffice it to say, while I almost pulled the trigger on
: the White Gold Rolex Master II "Pepsi," I waited to
: see what would be announced at Basel...hoping of course, for a
: Stainless Steel version. Patience and persistence paid off. Two
: days ago we got the call from our local Tourneau and rushed down
: to pick up the first Stainless Steel Pepsi to land at the
: company (Las Vegas). It's beautiful in every way and very
: comfortable. It's been fifteen years since I last purchased a
: Rolex for myself. It was well worth the wait. I know we are all
: Heuer fans here. But, I also know, we are lovers of well made
: mechanical watches. Thanks for the discussions, the education,
: and the love! With appreciation, Patty (your So Cal born, now
: Las Vegas resident, friend)!
